On the 29th of October 2019, CYNORA officially opened a new cleanroom building in Bruchsal. The Representatives of the German Federal Parliament of the district of Bruchsal-Schwetzingen Mr. Olav Gutting and Dr. Danyal Bayaz, the State Secretary for the Ministry of Economy, Labour and Housing in Baden-Württemberg Ms. Katrin Schütz, and the Mayoress of Bruchsal Ms. Cornelia Petzold-Schick all attended the event along with other guests.
Speeches of the CYNORA CEO and politicians
CYNORA CEO Adam A. Kablanian welcomed the guests and introduced CYNORA as an emerging materials leader with a novel technology to produce high-efficiency emitter systems for OLEDs. He emphasized that OLEDs are the newest display technology with the best performance for smartphones and OLED TVs. Mr. Kablanian stressed that CYNORA technology will help the OLED displays to get better by reducing the power consumption.
Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
During the official ceremony, the Representatives of the German Federal Parliament, Mr. Olav Gutting and Dr. Danyal Bayaz, the State Secretary for the Ministry of Economy, Labour and Housing in Baden-Württemberg Ms. Katrin Schütz, Mayoress Ms. Cornelia Petzold-Schick and Mr. Adam A. Kablanian cut the symbolic red ribbon and opened the new state of the art cleanroom.
Guided Cleanroom Tour
All the guests were given a tour through the new cleanroom building. The cleanroom was built to advance the research and development of deep-blue TADF emitter for Next-Generation OLED displays. A low number of particles in the environment is important to test OLED materials. A similar environment is also finally used in the production of the actual display modules by high-tech companies like Samsung Display and LG Display.
The heart of CYNORA´s cleanroom is the vacuum evaporation tool by the Korean company Sunic. Sunic also produces actual production tools for some of the biggest OLED display makers in the world. CYNORA´s new equipment is similar to those production tools but it is optimized to test new materials at high quality and with a high throughput.
