Where we are: Welcome to Karlsruhe!

Karlsruhe Palace at NightWelcome to Karlsruhe: In the beautiful south-western germany lies the city of Karlsruhe, founded 1715. Not only does it host the Federal Constitutional Court and one of germany's most renowned universities KIT, but also many high-tech-companies. From great inventors like Carl Benz, manufacturer of the first automobile and Carl Drais, who builded the first working bicycle to famous scientists such as Heinrich Hertz, Ferdinand Braun and Fritz Haber, the city has always been a place where the finding of new scientific results and their application in new inventions have been walking hand in hand.

Since our move from Herzogenrath to Karlsruhe in 2008, we are located at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology's Hightech-Incubator. This building host our modern office and lab facilities in the center of the famous former "Kernforschungszentrum Karlsruhe" and now northern campus of KIT. Here, Germanys first nuclear reactor was started, the first nuclide chart was invented and even today some of the countrys greatest research facilities can be found.
